DecietfullyYoursbonjour, my name is Asarel. I've got nineteen
tracks spinning on my record. I've got serious skill 'cause I've been roleplaying for about eight years and I live in the Central United States time-zone.

discipline , None as of yet, untrained... Will probably just be a trail horse...
rider level , Advanced
overall personality , Zephyr has been called wild, a nutcase, and crazy. He’s not though, not really... He’s just terrified, alert, high-strung, and... well, terrified, and he has good reason to be.
The gelding is a nervous horse by nature, and due to his past, it’s not surprising that he’s a nervous wreck who turns aggressive when pushed. Zeph wants to trust, but he’s such a wreck that he freaks over almost anything.
Before, he was gentle and curious... sweet and willing to try anything... now, he’s still a curious gelding, but his gentleness and sweetness is hidden behind nervousness and aggression. Every now and then his willing nature and potential shine through, but it’s gonna take a lot to extract it from the briars.
Zephyr is hard to catch and will try his best to avoid people... he’s a terror to lead, fighting his handlers, and he completely explodes whenever a saddle is placed on his back. He bites and has kicked in the past and has absolutely little to no manners.

history , Zephyr was bred by a backyard color-breeder... He is registered, yes, but as far as conformation goes, he got the low end of the stick with a giraffe neck, slightly long head, longish-back, high withers, long legs, and an extremely narrow front end. Needless to say, he’s not very proportionate at all...
He was sent through the auction as a weanling and was bought by a young man for his eleven year old daughter for a very low price. The girl wasn’t interested in such a ‘strange looking’ horse and refused to mess with him, so he was sent back through the same auction a month later. This time, he was bought by a middle aged man who claimed to be a trainer.
The man waited until Zephyr was a year and a half, then threw the saddle on his back and hopped on. When the gelding balked, be was beaten into submission and/or tied overnight to a post with no feed or water over and over until he submitted to his owners will. His hooves were never worked with and he was never dewormed or seen by a vet. Zephyr began striking out at his owner; bucking and rearing when undersaddle in order to get out of work. As a result, he was beaten and starved, his owner illogically thinking that by withholding feed and water, he could ‘teach the horse a lesson’.
As a three and a half year old, Zephyr got tangled up in electrical fencing and tore his legs to pieces. No vet was called, and the wounds healed, though not without leaving scars. Zephyr was terrified, rightly so, of people and refused to let anyone come near him. He was, once again, sent through the auction. He was drugged and bought by an unsuspecting woman who was completely new to horses. She changed his registered name to 'Golden Delight', choosing to ignore the fact that it didn't fit, and kept him, trying to get near to him, and eventually gave up, putting him out in the pasture and leaving him there, forgetting about him until he was almost five. The lady sent him through another auction, hoping to at least make a little money of the tall, thin, wild ‘crazy’, and wormy gelding.
It was at this sale that he was found by Eli. Eli immediately took a liking to the nutcase and bought him before he even went through the ring, wrestling him onto the trailer and taking him home, where the only work that he’s been asked to do so far has been accept a halter when it comes time for feeding... and surprisingly, he’s moderately ok. When he got the horses papers, he realized that his registered name would have to be changed... it just didn't match... it was Eli's sister who suggested the name 'Decietfully Yours'... and it stuck.
