basic appearance, Adelyn Madison is a rather pretty girl. One could describe her as pretty enough to earn a few glances, but not so much as to make someone stop in their tracks. Addie stands at about 5"5' and weighs in at about 125 lbs. She has long, curly brown hair that she will pull up into a ponytail or bun when she is out riding. Addie has a pair of gray-ish blue eyes, which are one of her distinguishing features; she wears colorless contacts as well. Her other distinguishing feature is the almost always apparent smile on her face, as she is a bit of an optimist.
Addie has pale skin that she takes extra care of since she's a bit of a germaphobe. She is a girl with a rather petite figure, but she does like to exercise —swimming especially. Her ears are pierced, but she usually doesn't often wear earrings, so she usually just leaves a pair of plain white studs there. Addie's fingers are long and slender as she has been playing the piano since she was a young girl. Her nails are always short and clean as she dislikes nail polish and long fingernails. Occasionally she would put a translucent light pink color over it to make it look slightly more interesting, but that's about the only kind of polish she would accept.
Dear little Adelyn Madison loves fashion; her clothing style is very easily said as spontaneous and outgoing. She wears all sorts of things from dresses to jeans and frills to furs (fake furs, of course, as she is a complete animal rights maniac). Adelyn also enjoys playing around with makeup, trying to perfect her skill so that she is wearing it, but it doesn't seem so. She hasn't gotten it right just yet. Her shoe style also ranges from heels to sneakers, sandals to boots and so much more. She likes black-heeled boots the most, though.
A way to discover Addie's feelings is through her facial expressions. She has about six different looks for anger and frustration, thirteen for confusion (as she often is), eight different smiles, twenty ways to look scared or hurt, exactly five types of looks for sadness, and so, so much more. This is one of the few ways to know what she is thinking, but you might never need to learn her looks as she is very open with her emotions and feelings.
physical flaws, There are quite a few things that are wrong with Adelyn. First off, her feet are very broad and flat; her toes are slightly stubby. Secondly, she is often prone to dry facial skin which can crack or peel, which is why she tries her hardest to take care of it. Third on the list are her teeth. Her teeth are not perfectly aligned, and her two front teeth jut out quite a little, like bunny teeth. When she was younger she had also had many cavities, so if she opens her mouth wide enough you can see the white cement filling in her back teeth rather well. The fourth? Two words: eye bags. Addie is victim to these as she gets them easily whenever she is stressed or does not get enough sleep.

overall personality , There are many complex layers to Adelyn that help make her who she is. For starters, she is a shy, keep-to-herself, timid girl who does nothing but read and draw and do other activities that does not require a friend. She doesn't have much friends due to this, as some people tend to think that she is a snob or better than them. She isn't really: she just prefers to be alone in silence at times.
But when we put aside her timidity and often annoying shy habits, we learn that Adelyn is actually a determined, devoted young adult, and has had to deal with being different her whole entire life, which hasn't been easy. It's helped to make her slightly insecure about herself and where she fits in, not feeling completely normal, but knowing that she's more than that —like everyone else, she was special in her own way.
For the most part, she is easy to get to know, as she doesn't believe in lying about herself. She is honest with whomever she comes into contact with, for better or for worse. She is open with her feelings and doesn't bother to try hiding them. For those who have never come into contact with somebody as straightforward and blunt as Addie can be, such honesty can be an extreme put-off, and Adelyn has had to try and learn to curb her bluntness when around other students and the like. There's a part of her that has a bit of a germaphobe. She hates getting sick and any form of bad bacteria or viruses.
Because of her natural empathetic ability, she is able to connect to others on an emotional level that others cannot understand. This makes her the ideal person to go to when one needs someone to talk to and she takes this role extremely seriously as a result. Adelyn wouldn't laugh at someone who's troubled, making it easy for you if you ever needed advice. She's known for her extreme loyalty. She is often stubborn in a way that she will stand her ground on an issue, even if she's been proven wrong.
This young adult is also very clumsy. Addie tends to bump into things very often and trip over thin air. She is a little awkward in this sense. Addie is also a very forgetful person: she forgets things, loses things and messes up things quite often. A lot of people avoid being her roommate. She is also never trusted when borrowing something, because, as loyal as she may be, she might forget to return it or lose it completely. This is probably one of her most major flaws.
Adelyn loves drawing, writing and reading more than any other activities in the world —even more than riding, at times. She draws, writes and reads in all the free time she gets, which is often why she liked rainy days. When she was younger, her mother would make her go out to play on bright sunny days. When it rained, however, her mother could do no such thing, thus Addie was left in peace to read a new book from cover to cover, construct a new story in a fantasy world or continue one of her comic strips for the fun of it.
Addie is a dreamer. She has a ferociously wild imagination that she loves to tell people about through her comic strips. The one she is most famous for is her animal comedy about overcoming impossibilities, 'Don't Judge a Pet by it's Collar'. Adelyn believes in reaching for the stars, and that anything is possible. She would always listen to other people's ambitions and goals in life, and never put them down on it. This is also sometimes a flaw as she gets disappointed easily when dreams are not achieved.
At the same time, though, Addie is a huge procrastinator when it comes to work. Her most famous words, and a quote she often uses to procrastinate things is the line "The early bird might catch the worm, but only the second mouse gets the cheese." From the idiom 'the early bird catches the worm', Adelyn duly noted that the early mouse who attempts to obtain the cheese in a mousetrap shall rarely manage to get it out without being brutally murdered, thus leaving it for a second mouse. And, due to her shy attitude, the mouse, of course, refers to her.
Adelyn is also a hopeless romantic; she believes in all that crap like 'soulmates', happy endings and such, but not love at first sight. She is also very child-like, in a way that she still believes that somewhere out there, there could be fairytales and magic happening. This is a side of her that she only shows to her closest friends. it is the only part of her that she dares not voice out to the public.
All in all Adelyn Madison is a young adult hidden in a shell, and inside is a girl with a love for life and all it has to offer.

history ,
A young aspiring model in Iowa met the man of her dreams at the first shot of her career. He helped with the shoot, moving around furniture, providing things for all the models, and assisting the photographers. He was the same age the nineteen year old girl. They caught each other’s eyes that day. Or at least the girl felt something deep in her heart for this man who looked to be working hard and pretty well off.
The girl was a success after that one shoot, other brands quickly wanting her beauty for their own products. The girl was still so young but moving fast in the world of modeling. The girl and the man she met that day kept in contact and soon began to date. It seemed the man was working for the photographers as a part time job before he was to become a photographer himself. The two seemed like the best power couple in the girl’s mind. She was truly in love with his man. The moved in together, the girl’s apartment, and the man offered to become her manager, saying it would be best since he would soon become famous himself. The girl willingly accepted his offer, seeing no harm.
For three years they were together. The girl was at the top of her game. But soon, the man seemed to become more secretive. He told her he was in fact a photographer and even had portfolios he brought home from work. She had no real reason to doubt him since he was still in fact her manager and she still had all her money. It was when she found out she was pregnant that she brought up the idea of marriage. He opposed the idea, telling her they could take care of the child and raise it right without having to be married. The girl accepted, her love for him clouding her judgment.
It was when the child was two that things changed. Money seemed to be disappearing from the woman’s account. Not just small amounts but thousands of dollars. She brought it up to her husband/manager who said it was nothing she needed to worry about. But it was something. One night the child woke up to a noise in her room. It was her father mumbling sweetly in her ear. She didn’t know what was happening but her father was leaving, forever. He said his goodbyes and something along the lines of not knowing he would come to love the daughter he never planned on having. And with that, the man left with millions of his girlfriend’s money that she had made over the years.
The man never truly loved the young model he met five years prior. He was a conman and saw the young girl as a way to get money. So he lived in a loveless relationship and became her manager to steal the money she would make. He was planning on staying with the girl for a little longer but the birth of his daughter changed things. He began to love his daughter like a father would and knew he had to leave before he became too attached. So he felt during the night that he needed to leave the country.
The little girl’s mother was left with barely any money. She spent a few months in a depression until realizing she had to support a little baby. She gained a hatred for the man she once loved and continued her modeling career with the help of her parents. But she loved her daughter none the less. To forget about the deceitful man, she took her daughter and moved away from Iowa to somewhere else: Burbank.
So Adelyn grew up with her mother. They had a good life thanks to her mother’s career. The woman tried to teach her daughter independence from men. Addie, was, apart from being illegitimate, quite a normal child. Like many other children, she was forced to learn the piano, and soon enough grew to love it, and could compose music. The only fault there was, of course, that it was not very good. When she was in grade four she quit, because she disliked lessons, but loved the piano. Thus she now can only play by ear, as she cannot read notes well.
Like many other children as well, Adelyn grew up with the companion of an animal friend. This was her dog, Prince, that her mother had brought home on Addie's fourteenth birthday. Addie loved that dog as much as she loved her mother, and he was the closest thing she could have to a human friend who was, of course, not her mom. Prince was usually the one she turned to when she was having problems in school, because she couldn't really tell her mom, and her mom was too busy, anyway.
In school, Addie felt different from the other students since all of them seemed to have fathers. She felt alone and started to isolate herself from others. The students thought she was ignoring them because she was a model's daughter and looked down on them and because she thought she was prettier than the other girls. So almost all the girls hated her. Addie lived like this without telling anyone, figuring it was her own fault since she didn’t have a father like everyone else. She grew to be shy, and to hate crowds and loud noises as it reminded her of school corridors and halls where she would be teased and jeered at.
This was what drove her to doing activities that required one, and only one, person. Adelyn would read every single book she could get her hands on to make up for the lack of adventure in her life, draw out every single emotion and event she had experienced or, inside, dreamed to experience, and wrote down fantasies and dreams that she wished could happen. By the time she was nine, she asked her mother for permission to attend classes in both writing and art, which her mother granted. At the age of thirteen, she was well on her way to writing books that could be published in the future.
As she went to high school, the students who had knew her and knew how she acted ignored her. They also warned new students of her attitude and kept her from making friends. Addie’s secret finally got to her mother who told her she had nothing to feel bad about. If they didn't like her for who she was, why try? It wasn't because she didn't have a father figure. Her father was a man she didn’t need in her life, she was told. So her mother told her to be more cheerful and make friends. But it seemed it was too late.
College was slightly different. She went to an all girls boarding school, which she and her mother felt was best, as Alexandria still thought that Adelyn needed independence from men. Adelyn, who had barely spoken to any male besides her dog, was rather comfortable with this arrangement. She took the creative writing course for her major, as well as English literature and art for her minors. It was three years until she had finally gotten out of there.
So when she got finally got out of college, Addie vowed to have a great adulthood experience. She moved away from her home in Burbank to live in a small area in Chicago called Caramel Rivers. She is an author there, with illustrations in her books that she has done herself. Life is different here in Caramel Rivers than in her old home. Everyone is more tight-knit and friendly. No one here is from her past, and that's probably what she likes most.

roleplay sample ,
Tori had long ago been on the plane with the other agents, but had quietly suited herself with a place at the back. Way back. Silently reading a sports magazine, she was greatly contented with this silent treatment, purposefully tuning out the conversations that went on in the plane. She knew only three people on the plane: Krys, Matthew and Kate. And even them she wasn't very close to, since she was only their anthropologist. Until of course, the announcement sounded: "We are experiencing some... turbulence. If everyone could please return to their seats and buckle up."
Lifting her head from the magazine, Tori listened with interest. She quickly buckled up, a slight sense of panic within her. The plane jolted up and down, back and forth, throwing everyone around. Tori couldn't help but let out a small squeak from her throat as she hung on to her seat. She grasped the gas mask, readying herself for a drastic crash. She closed her eyes, and waited...
"Wh-what?" After what seemed like only a few seconds, Tori found herself thrown a distance away from the plane, a sprain noticeable as the injury on her left foot. She moved her limbs to check if everything was alright. Everything was, in fact, fine, excluding the foot. She steadied herself up and looked around her. The plane was about twenty yards away. How on Earth did she get all the way onto the beach? She sighed to herself.
While the plane had been jolting away, coming to a stop, Tori had gotten flung out of her seat, hit her head on a metal pole and fell unconscious. Being the forensic she had been trained to be, she limped over to the plane, wincing at a sudden noticeable ache at the back of her head, noticing that her left eye was having some difficulties keeping open. Oh great, a concussion.
Tori entered the broken plane and looked around. She trailed along, until finally she came to a pole with a slight dent and blood stain. Knowing immediately through geology that it was the pole she had hit, she examined the dent to tell how bad her head trauma was. The dent was thin, bending outwards with a sharp pull at the bottom right. Not too bad... she thought, inspecting the tiny dent. At least I'm not dead.
She stood up again, and hopped out of the plane. She sighted a few people still around, and heard a soothing voice. “Krys…why don’t you let me take care of that shoulder of yours?” She spun around to see Penelope Garcia, Quantico's BAU technical analyst. She had heard much of her before. And of course, next to her she saw Krys, her own BAU's tech analyst. A sheepish smile pulled on her lips as she came over, hand at the back of her head.
"Anyone has a pain killer?" Tori asked, forgetting to be polite as she dizzily walked towards the few figures in front of her, trying to lighten up the moment by joking a little. "Or an ATC?"
