discipline , Done some basic western/english and jumping training, surprisingly showed decent form over jumps. Mostly pleasure, yet to decide on her discipline.

Senkana is unreliable but not unmanageable she needs an extremely firm hard in what ever she does. She is very arrogant always fights to make sure she is at the top of the pecking order with humans aswell as other horses. Whilst she is incredibly flighty and is likely to spook at the smallest of things; including that yellow bin she passes every day. She also has a "just get it done attitude " always a very bold jumper and after the initial shock of being spooked she is willing to move on ( providing of course the rider/handler keeps his cool. ) A serious headshy issue that has lessened over the years but is still an underlying problem will often see her stick her nose skywards at the lightest touch of the reins. For this reason she is trained on voice cues and seat position but she needs more work in those areas aswell. Her balance and flextion arn't brilliant but she has fantastic strength and stamina. No buck but plenty of go and occasional rear.

history , She alone knows all her history but what Tim has managed to figure out is this. She was sold as a unbroke yearling to a lady who fell into hard times and left the mare in the paddocks for six months. Which would have been fine had she not sold her on again soon after that to a bloke nine hours away. The mare didn't fare the trip well but was placed into immediate training on arrival. Its believed her got as far as sacking her out before he stopped. Its unknown if he gave up or was unable to continue for other reasons. She was sold a further three times before coming to Tim. She was now almost five years old completely unbroke in anything bar her spirit. The next three years were spent with Tim as he enlisted in many trainers help and trailed various methods. He has now fully taken over her training but is always up for advice.
