overall personality , Jack is a “bit of everything”; on a whole he’s a relaxed, easy going horse – he’s easy to handle on the ground and good to float and such with no vices. But when he gets under saddle he can be two sides of a coin; some days he’s gentle and kind to his riders and some days he can be a bit of fight. He fusses and rushes at fences and can be difficult; but he usually calms down after a while. But on a whole he’s a relatively easy horse to handle, he is however a Grand Prix show jumper and so he has a little bit of an attitude; he needs a firm hand at times but loves everybody. He gets a bit excitable at shows and around home, especially when jumps are involved, but otherwise he’s calmer and more of a gentleman. He’s not quite a school master but his temperament is a little bit the same as one.

history , Jack was born and raised on a farm in a remote part of Germany. When he was two we was bought by an America who brought him to the USA and raised him to be an eventer; while his stadium jumping was incredibly outstanding, he didn’t have the right drive for cross country and his dressage wasn’t quite Olympic standard – which is why the owner bought him in the first place. So the man put him on the market just after finishing his training and was bought by Hayley’s father – the family breed show-jumpers of all breeds. He competed him until he decided to give him to his daughter when Jack was eight. She competed with him until she decided to move away from home and she brought him with her.
