basic appearance, Chance has steel blue colored eyes that can catch anyone's attention. They are very bright but they have that dark mysterious look to them that make it hard to look away. They way he looks at someone is greatly affected by his eyes. His eyebrows help him in his many expressions he creates. They are well pronounced but not too bushy. He has a masculine jaw line that is very prominent and his chin is very well shaped into his face. When Chance does wear facial hair, it is usually not very well kept and when he does let it grow out slightly, he lets it all grow. His skin is usually tan but not very dark. He likes to be out in the sun a lot and that shows from the normal tan he usually has. his Italian blood showing through just slightly.
Chances hair is a big part of him. It defines him. His dark brown hair is never very short but he likes to keep it just past his ears. It’s a shaggy length that he likes to let just flow. Chance likes to be able to run his hands through his hair from time to time. And he loves when a girl does that as well and plays with it. He usually doesn't like to put gel in it because he doesn't like the feel of it in his hair. His hair is darker then both his parents, his father being a dirty blond color and his mother being a blonde.
Chance stands around five foot ten inches. He isn't ones of the tallest guys out there and that doesn't really bug him at all. He is fine with how tall he is. He has a medium build compared to most guys. He is on the shorter side but he loves to work out and keep fit. He has to since he is in the military, it is mandatory. He has well shaped arms and chest and has the well looked for abs that girls want in a guy. He hates getting up in the early hours of the morning but he knows it has paid off in the end.
physical flaws,
- His eyebrows come down lower then normal covering his eyes at times, giving him the mysterious look.
- Chance thinks he has a big nose and its a little too pointy.
- Best friend shot him with a bb gun in the head when they were twelve, the bb is still there to this day..

overall personality , Before Chance joined the Air Force he was very outgoing and some would say a trouble maker. He loved to try new things and go out every night with his friends and have a good time. Drinking was probably one of the only things the kids did in the area that Chance lived at. It was a college town too so kids were getting arrested for some of the stupidest things. Chance wasn't among one of them but he wanted to be known for something cool. Chance had an attitude of 'Go big or go home'. That was his motto. He loved doing crazy things and being known for it. Also, he loved to make his friends laugh. He was also known as the town playboy. He loved the ladies. But that all changed when he tore his ACL in a football game. He started to think about his future and what he wanted to do. The more serious Chance began to take over. That was when he met the Air Force Recruiter.
While in the Air Force, Chance became a very serious guy. He was no longer a guy that liked to joke around and have fun constantly. That could not be done when his job was so seroius. When he would talk to his parents on the phone, they could tell there was a big change in the way Chance's mind was working. He thought everything through. He no longer jumped at every silly thing. This was a new Chance but they weren't sure if they liked it. Chance's mind was always in the cockpit of the planes he flew. He was always thinking on how he could better himself when he was flying. He was very passionate about something for once.
Now that he is on leave, Chance wants to go back to riding, but he knows it will be hard. He has the whole military soldier personality. He hates talking about what he has done and what he has seen. He has nightmares. Now, this new Chance is quiet and keeps to himself. He wants to find a girl that can stand being with a soldier like him, but he doesn't think that will happen. He came to Caramel Rivers for a fresh start. Hoping he can find that old Chance that was pushed aside and live a little. He is only twenty three and he wants to have some fun before he gets too much older. But strict Chance is still towering over the old Chance who is screaming to get out.

hometown , United States, Montana, outside of Bozeman on a ranch that his family owns.
family , Mother-Diane Loveland, 53, housewife Father-Robert Loveland, 50, stable owner Sister-Kimberly, 19, going to college to be a vet
pets , Jesse is a liver colored border collie. Chance also has two horses that he has brought with him from his parents' stable back in Montana to be with him in Chicago at Carmal Rivers, Dizzy aka Total Distortion is Chance's Hunter/Jumper and Killi aka Killer Apprentice is his show jumper.
history , Chance was born into a small family of just Diana and Robert Loveland on October 10th. The new family lived on a small ranch with a few horses and boarding others for people who traveled and needed a place to keep their horses. Chance was very helpful when he was young and wanted to learn the ways of the stable and then he even wanted to learn to ride and jump. His parents were excited and taught him to jump and even got him his own horse. When Chance was six, his little sister, Kimberly, was born. His parents were so excited to have a little baby girl, that he felt they were forgetting about him. From that moment on, Chance began to take on a new personality. He started to get more wild and outgoing. He started to get into trouble at school and took on new friends. In high school he took on football and started to drink. His parents felt they were losing him.
Chance and Kimberly could have been closer as siblings but since Chance got so jealous of her so fast, they never were very close. They argued a lot and they never really got along. However, deep down, Chance really did love his little sister and was even protective of her when she got older. It was no one elses job to pick on her but him and he made that known. No one messed with his sister anymore after he beat up a kid for it. Younger kids were then scared of him and the older kids wanted to be his friend. So this new Chance stayed around. The football coach even got him to play football to get rid of some of that anger. But his senior year, the year all the scouts were there to see him play, he tore his ACL and was out for the rest of the season. Chance was devastated and went into a state of depression for a few weeks.
That was when he talked to an Air Force recruiter. They told him he would have to work very hard to get better and be 100% before he could join but that just made Chance work even harder. He never wanted anything so bad in his life. When it came time to join up, he was better than ever and stronger than ever. He joined the Air Force as a fighter pilot and began his training. He was flying f-15 and f-16 faster than anyone thought. This was his place. He found his career. But he never thought he would be called out to fight in a war, actually killing people. He was very serious about his career and he was one of the top go to guys that was flying. He was good at what he did. Flying was his life and shooting people and killing people and cities was just part of the job now, nothing more nothing less.
But now his time is up and he has to decide whether he re-enlists or quits. The Air Force has given him some leave to decide what he wants to do and so he made his way back home to see his family and friends in Montana. They have stuck by him and so talking to them about re-enlisting sounded like the best idea. They said he should. It had been good for him and he loved doing it. But he said he would take advantage of the leave and take his two horses and go catch up on some riding. That was when he found Caramel Rivers near Chicago. His parents weren't really sure why he would go there. Chance just he had to. He wanted to further his learning in show jumping and if it went well, that would be his deciding factor whether he stayed or went back. So here he is at Caramel Rivers, trying to figure out his fate.

roleplay sample ,
Hayden didn't sleep much and he wasn't exactly sure why. So around three in the morning Hayden crawled out of his bed and went to the kitchen to make some coffee. He couldn't remember the last time he was up this early. He was one that liked to sleep in at times and early mornings were not his favorite thing. Hayden drank his coffee and sat on the couch, looking at the window. Well good thing about being up this early is he would be able to see the sunrise in who knows how long. Memories began to flow through his brain of being out on his foster parents’ ranch, waking up at the crack of dawn and ready to ride. This memory put a smile on his face. He missed that place, and the old man and woman who took him in when no one else would. They were his true family, but now they were gone, and he was alone again. What else was new? Hayden finished his coffee and got dressed, putting on some riding clothes. Since he was up this early he might as well go for a ride or two on his horses, Killi, Russ, and Dizzy. But no, today was not a day for Russ, Hayden's young two year old racehorse. He was just not feeling the young colt.
When he got down to the main barn, the sun was up now but the morning breeze kept him cool. The smell of sweet hay and leather flowed into his nose. They were jumping out and saying hello. Hayden then moved to his horses stalls. They were right beside each other. "Good morning beautiful," he said to Killi, his chestnut Belgian warm blood mare, and then he moved to Dizzy, his grey Hanoverian gelding, "And good morning handsome." Hayden had decided he wanted to take Dizzy out first this morning. He wanted some male bonding time. He pats the gelding on his neck and then clipped a lead to his halter. After brushing him down and tacking him up, Hayden then lead the eight year old hunter to the arena, only to find out they would not be alone this morning. Hayden looked the the windows as he walked along the hallway to the doors of the arena, "Looks like we are going to have some company this morning boy."
Hayden waited for a few moments for the girl and her horse to be across the arena before he opened the doors and entered. The main reason because he didn't want to spook the horse and the other, he didn't really want to be that close to someone right now. So as the other pair was circling the arena, Hayden opened the doors as quietly as he could and lead in Dizzy, the gelding followed quietly. He gave a nod to the girl, not really sure if she saw it or not and then went on to mounting the gelding. Dizzy stood perfectly still as Hayden hoped up on the horse, pulling himself up. He probably could have made it look a little more graceful if he tried but he just really wasn't in the mood to show off or anything this morning. It was a long night and he was just here to ride. He gave the girl another nod and then set the gelding off at a easy walk, adjusting everything that he needed. Hayden kept stealing glances at the girl but kept his focus on the gelding as much as he could. No need to get distracted while riding a horse.
