basic appearance,
don't judge me by my size
Rebecca is a very small framed young woman. Since she can remember, she has always been the "squirt" of her rather tall family, as her father affectionately called her. Her family are giants compared to her. Her father is 6'5", her mother and sister's hovering around 5'7"-9" range, and her 13 year-old-brother is already surpassing her at 5'6". Her height impairment does not seem to phase her though, for she is always found climbing and running and riding horses, hence the various scars, bruises, and scrapes that dot her small body. Despite her size, she will not let anything stop her from doing the things she loves.
get to know her face
Rebecca has high cheekbones and pale pale porcelain skin. Her skin is so white, it almost glows at night time. She has never been able to tan in her life, which she was a bit upset about for a while However, her pale skin came to grow on her. Her hair is of medium length and a dark brown, although it is hard to tell how long it will stay one style or color. She enjoys playing around with different hues and textures. Her nose is narrow, but a bit disproportionate to her delicate face.
the eyes tell all
Rebecca's one attributing feature that she actually has liked about herself is her eyes. Her eyes are a pale, clear blue. They are small, yet covered in a swath of dark eyelashes that are usually made even bigger with mascara and eyeshadow.
fashion sense? let's find out
Becky has an interesting take on what she wears. Her clothes are a mix of vintage and modern, swaying a little closer to the vintage end of the spectrum. Her favorite accessories are her shoes and her hats. She adores them, and has probably more than any 19 year old should accumulate in a life time. . .
physical flaws,
liar liar, your nose has grown
Becca has never really been fond of her nose. In proportion to her face, it is rather bulb like and large. She cannot stand her nose, and often complains about it. Due to her complaints, her siblings would always tease her about it, shouting as she runs out the door, "Now, don't run into anything because you can't see past your nose!" After a while of this, the complaints ceased, but the discomfort with her own nose never did.
easier said than done
Becca has always had odd shaped eyebrows. Despite the technology known as tweezers and waxing, Becca cannot seem to form her eyebrows into a "normal"shape. To slightly remedy this, she makes sure her bangs are always long and down, but that usually doesn't do the trick very well. You can easily see her eyebrows and how they don't quite match the average Jane's.
you thought wrong
You'd think a girl who is 5'4" and 115 lbs would have all small body parts, correct? Well, this is not the case for poor Becca. Her feet are a size 8 1/2, making it difficult to find her most treasured accessory: shoes. Her feet in comparison to her tiny body are quite big, but she does her best to hide that sad fact.

quirky when quirky was uncool
Becca has never really been, well, on beat. She listens to her own melody in life, not really caring what others think or say. Her favorite hobbies include documenting findings of paper fans, collecting seashells just to see how many can fit into her sock, and many other odd ventures. Her own beat is playing in her head, and she does not realize that it is a half -beat eighth note ahead or behind everyone else's.
creativity consumes, does it not?
Becca adores the arts. She enjoys singing, playing her guitar, attempting to learn piano (she really is not so good), painting, writing, drawing, and most of all, photography. Her creative juices do not have an off spout, which can be rather disconcerting at times. Especially when she is trying to make a business out of her photography. She has so many loves and talents, but she is not quite sure what to do with all her creativity yet.
taking a higher road, but with some potholes
Becca is the ever compassionate one, sometimes to a fault. She has great empathy skills, able to communicate well and reach out to those in need. However, she is not quite sure where to draw the line. She has no fear, and will help ANYONE, even at her own costs. Her parents for years had scolded her about this trait, but she cannot seem to help herself. She loves being around and helping out people whenever she can, in any way she can.

history ,
pleasant childhood, take me back
Becca's childhood was filled with fond memories and the best times of her life. What ever happened to coloring with daddy on the front porch? Or playing imaginary games with her little brother and older sisters? Becca misses her childhood, misses the simplicity of it all. Although her parents never married, they decided to live together and raise Jessica, Mariah, and Rebecca together in Milan, Italy where they had met. It was the happiest time this family would remember, much to Becca's dismay.
how could you? oh, it was those shoes
When Becca turned 6, her father cheated on her mother. Although they were not yet married, he had proposed to her a month before. She was also pregnant with a son. His betrayal tore the family apart. Later, when Rebecca asked her father why he couldn't just resist the woman he cheated with (for they really had had no relationship), he only responded with "It was those goddamned shoes!" and stormed out the door.
Becca's mom decided to move to America, where she had grown up. Becca's father rarely came to visit. Only once or twice every couple of months did he actually decide to come see her. Rebecca didn't mind too much. She loved her daddy, but her sisters, mother, and now new baby brother were all the company she really needed. Her mother encouraged her, and helped to fuel Becky's passions in art and music. Even though her siblings were doing fantastic things, and Becca was trying very hard to run her own business and sort of failing, her mother always came to her aide. Sure, she missed having daddy around, but did it really matter when the rest of her family cared so much for her?
those dreaded years
Highschool was very tough for Becca. She was short, quirky, and really had very few social skills. She never dated, and had very few friends. When people asked her what she wanted to do with her life, they scoffed when she told them a full time photographer. She found refuge in the barn, reading books, drawing, singing, or going out for a ride. Her closest companions were the horses, her brother (who seemed to be growing out of Becca's companionship), and the barn cats. Here, she honed her creativity and further developed her love for horses and photography. This is where her great idea sparked.
the plan, organized as ever, right?
Becca wasn't sure how it would pan out, but she was certain she wanted to be a nature/horse photographer. She loved riding and drawing horses, so their composition and movements were not foreign to her. She adored being around horses, but also had come to develop a love for being around people. She decided then and there to start her own photography business one day. She preferred it to be a film only studio, but she was so unprepared for the quickly advancing technologies. She has taken new routes, explored new ideas, and is well on her way to achieving her goal.

The sun washed over the vast field, catching Becca's eye. Her heart pounded at the glorious site of apple orchards, hay fields, and horse pastures dotting the landscape of her former home. Her trip to Italy was purely business, she kept telling herself. But she knew better in her heart. Somewhere deep inside her longed for the carefree simplicity of her former life here. When the sunset was the family outing, and her father always read her bedtime stories about kittens and little brave toasters. Somehow, she couldn't bring herself to forget. She was not stuck in the past. Rather, wishing her future could hold the same innocence. Her father had always told her, ironically enough, that losing innocence was like losing half of yourself. Perhaps that's why she so yearned to relive those memories. Becca held up her camera to capture the breathtaking scene before her, and clicked.
Becca placed her hands on the stone rail, leaning over the edge, staring into the rushing river below. She let the cool breeze wash over her cheeks, taking in a huge breath. She loved this place. She righted herself up, and continued to meander down the stone walkway, humming a little ditty as she went. Her camera was slung loosely around her neck, yet she still held the body in her hand. She looked lazily at her watch, and almost lost her balance in alarm. It was five o clock! Booboo needed his pills! She was so late.... Booboo would not be happy. She raced down the road, her high heeled boots clicking and clacking as she ran. Her hands jumbled in her pocket for her keys, making sure she had the right one. She lunged at the door of her tiny little cabin, yanking the door open to find Booboo waiting expectantly. "Sorry Booboo!" she whispered, rushing into the tiny kitchen and shaking the pill box. Her tiny kitten walked gawkily into the room, leaping up onto the counter where Becca was fumbling around. She popped the pill into some rolled turkey and watched, breathing heavily, as the tiny three-legged kitten shoveled it down. She picked him up after he had finished and scratched his tiny chin. His purr resonated against her chest and she gave him a huge wet kiss on the head. "There's my baby boy." she cooed, setting him down gently on the floor.
Becca stared at the little kitten for a moment, then hr thoughts began to wander. This country was so beautiful. Did she really have to go beck to America? Her heart just wasn't in it. Besides, no American boy wanted to be anything more than friends with her. Perhaps an Italian would be more interested. Weren't people shorter in Europe? Maybe that was a lie, but it sure was a nice thought. Her pale blue eyes wandered her little rental cabin, wishing she could stay here longer. Her father had only met with her twice in the three months she had been here, but she had made some pretty cool friends. Who knew if she would leave?
