overall personality , Millie is a very nice mare, but is a little excitable and definitely a mare. She’s one of the nicest horses you can meet, but sometimes forgets she much larger than you are and is known to want to play a little rough, and being smart doesn’t help with that either. She really knows who her owner is, but is also kind to everyone and easy for anyone to ride who can handle a big horse. She was once a racehorse and it shows. The mare loves to go and is quite hard mouthed but never tries to be bad. All in all, she just likes to please but often doesn’t know how to do that.

history , Millie was born on the Cumings’ racing farm and Rick’s father gave the mare to his son, mostly trying to get him interested in running the farm when he got older. This, though, didn’t work at all, but that’s not important now. Since Rick was in boarding school or touring for most of this time he kept control of the mare from long distances and never really got to see her, but that didn’t bother anyone at all. In one race, though, when Millie was three, she fell and pulled a tendon and had to be pulled out of races long enough for Rick to decide she wasn’t going back. For a while now, while Rick was still in school, Millie was left in a pasture, well taken care of but not being trained, but he’s planning on changing that now that he’s out of school.
