GENERAL !
[/ul][/blockquote]
- Guests, if you have a question about the rules, feel free to ask in the Cbox. However, a comment about the rules in the Cbox is unacceptable, so please don't. I will delete the post and mark your IP address as spam for Cbox. Please be respectful of our site.
- Your account name must be that of your character, with proper capitalization, only. No extra symbols may be used.
- You may not role play yourself or any character very similar to yourself. I know I have no way of enforcing this unless you tell me that's what you are doing, but just don't do it. It blurs the lines between in character and out of character and causes drama, which no body likes.
- On that note as well, you may not play a character out of a book, a celebrity (not saying your character can't be a celebrity, but saying you can't play Miley Cyrus, for example), a movie character or anything like that. Your character must be your own creation.
- This also goes with names. If your playby is Taylor Swift your character may NOT have Taylor or Swift in their name. Be creative.
- All characters must have a human playby, and this human playby must be a celebrity or you must have permission to use the person you will be using, including access to their first and last name. In other words, if the person you want to use as a playby is not famous and doesn't want you to use their picture or put their full name on the site, you are not allowed to use that person. Sorry guys, but I'm gonna be strict here.
- So, the above means that all characters must have something up in the face claims, and yes I mean all, whether you are worried someone else may use them or now. You are not allowed to post until you do this. It's to allow guests to see who's being played along with allowing them to see the variety in characters and allows me, as the admin, to have someone to take a quick look and see who we have around.
- Any character who is not posted in an in character thread for two weeks will have their play by put up for grabs. If the inactivity continues for four weeks, the character will no longer be accepted and if the role player would like to play the character again, a PM must be made asking for the character to be re-accepted and explaining why the inactivity happened in the first place. After being re-accepted the character must be posted in an in character thread in one week to stay accepted. This rule is counteracted if the member posted in the absence board.
ROLEPLAYING !
[/ul][/blockquote]
- Word count is 500 words as this is an advanced role play. We’re all willing to help out new role players of course, but our standards are high.
- You can have as many characters as you want as long as you can keep up with all of them. There are a few rules, though. If you have two girls you must then create a guy, and keep him active. If he is not active one of the female accounts will be disabled because stable sites always need guys. The code is “admin changed” and put it in your character’s birthday slot, along with the birthday to be accepted. On that note, keep all your threads active. If I notice you ignore one thread and post very often in others the latter will be locked until a replay to the first is made.
- No Mary or Gary sues, obviously.
- If we ask for changes to be made to your application, please just change them and don't be discouraged. It happens and if you are not willing to work on your application to make it acceptable than this is not the site for you. However, unless someone we say is just down right wrong (like... if we say your thoroughbred can't be 16 hh [which we never would]) don't try to argue with us. Our minds were made up when we asked for the change and it is very unlikely you will get us to accept the application as is and it really just makes every staff member (and current member on the site) want to claw their eyes out when someone tries to argue. Though, it often times does give us a good laugh because a fool of yourself you will make (channeling my inner Yoda! Whoo!)
- When role playing proper capitalization and punctuation must be used. Periods at the end of sentences, capitals at the beginning and for names. It's easier to read.
- All characters must be 18 or above, but we strongly discourage characters under the age of twenty-one. If we get too many teenagers I will also ban them as well. All jobs also have a strictly enforced age limit.
- Pregnancy plots must be gone through with an admin. No one wants every girl in town preggers. This is the same with pregnancy scares or pregnancies that end in miscarriage or abortion.
- Be original with your character. No one wants every girl raped and abused or every guy a murderer and lost their whole family. Drama is generally not something we look for in a good character.
- Posting in character must be done in size 1 font
- Please put your character's age and relationship status in your signature. I hate having to go look around for it.
- Don't only plot with character's whose playbys have photo ops with your character's playby. I'm serious, it's childish and stupid. Also, for the sake of my sanity, absolutely none of this two characters falling in love or talking about they are all the other ever wanted in the thread where they meet okay? Okay.
- I honestly don't care what you write about, just keep it tasteful.
GRAPHICS !
[/ul][/blockquote]
- Don’t stretch the board with pictures, ever. And credit the people who make them for you. Ignore putting the code word in the birthday section, just put it in the other section.
OOC !

- No public fighting, solve it over PM and if something gets too bad contact a staff member.
