overall personality , Missy seems like an overall good mare. Though she is skilled enough to deal with more advanced new riders with good upper body strength she is a show horse. And she does not fear acting like it when not in the ring. She can be a bit of biter, and does occassionally chomp on the bit. She can also be quite smart and might throw a unknown rider for a loop despite her younger age.
She is quite a picture in the ring though. And she does tend to be a little less agressive during shows than during normal work-outs. She can like to do things her way at times and can be aggressive towards other horses. She is used to being penned alone or with one or two older mares who leave her to herself to avoid fights. It may be best to leave this one to her sole rider.

She was born out of champions. Missy had some of the best bloodlines for a gaited horse from this private stable in New York. Her sire was a five time Good Hands finalist and is now retired to stud. Her mother took several state titles and won recognition as a brood with Missy's brother. Originally bought with Jennifer in mind by Catherine's father, she was trained and showed proffessionally both by Jennifer and the instructor. Eventually she was passed onto Catherine to ride after Jennifer's death. She has competed once with Catherine and still competes with the instructor and the occassional hired rider.
